They are engagement photos of a gorgeous couple Sam and Sarah from Birmingham in the UK.  Engagement photos are a great way to test out your wedding photographer before the big day – and most will offer an engagement photoshoot for free – so make sure you ask yours!

We absolutely adore the blushing pink tones that are used in this gorgeous couples wedding theme. The bright bursts of colour contrast against the tree colours behind them in such a magic way! This beautiful couple, Caitie and Brandon had the stunning country-side wedding we all dream of. We’ve fallen totally in love with their relaxed, informal (but equally loved up and romantic) wedding photographs and we adore every little detail about their day – right down to the gorgeous cowboy hats!

Everything about this couples day is beautifully understated. Look at the brides shoes in the photo above, how cute are they? We found some great tips for planning your own cowboy wedding, so have a read through!

1. Begin with a classic cowboy color scheme of denim blue and bandana red. Keep the colours and materials rustic and charming. 

2. Arrange informal flower bouquets of daisies, sunflowers. Keep the designs simple but cute. You even put them in recycled milk bottles for that extra country-side charm! 

3. Have different cowboy boots on the tables as center pieces. You could fill them with wild flowers.

4. Scrap the posh table cloths and cover your tables with bandana printed fabric in red or blue instead.

5. If possible, change up the chairs for hay stacks with little cushions. This is even cuter if you find a barn location. 

6. have a BBQ area of any outside activities. You could hang fairy lights in the trees too – for that extra romantic effect. 

7. Dress the entire wedding party in cowboy boots and Stetson hats – if you can get the guests to do this too, do it!

8. Arrive on horses to the reception. Extra points for no saddle!

9. Have the groomsmen wear demin jeans instead of posh trousers. It adds the country feel and makes the whole occasion cowboy casual.

10. Keep the food good and honest. A BBQ or some good Chilli is perfect!

This gorgeous couple were married in Bora Bora (the ultimate tropical destination for any wedding). The Bride and Groom, Rudd and Magdalena got married in Bora Bora and celebrated their love by a simple polynesian wedding ceremony. The thing that’s so striking about their day is the lovely simplicity of it!

When planning your tropical wedding abroad, remember to do your research online beforehand. You’ll probably want to find local providers for all your wedding-things (such as flowers, food, photography) as it’ll keep your budget down. Ask your hotel or church for recommendations too – they’ll definitely be able to help you out!

We adore the brides beautiful dress, so original and very designer! Opting for a high backed dress is a great idea of brides who want something modest but equally stunning and eye-catching. This gown is one of the most interesting and intricate we’ve ever featured and we are head over heels for it!

What we love even more than the stunning designer dress though are the stunning designer photographs. This beautiful couple’s photographs look like they’ve been taken straight out of a Vogue wedding spread and it’s amazing! The photos were taken by Andrew Scott Clarke Wedding Photography, and we think you’ll agree, they are stunning!

For some couples, capturing the magic of a past decade is a fun and beautiful theme to take on. Some people might not be up to it, but for this couple it was just the challenge they wanted when planning their day. When choosing to pick a theme for your wedding – going vintage is a subtle but fun one to choose. You can ask guests to dress up in theme too (like the guest in the photograph above!) or you can keep it to just people in the wedding party. Vintage is something most people will be agreeable with too, as it’s not too over the top and doesn’t require too much effort. Just maybe a trip to the charity shop!

Looking through these images you’d be forgiven for mistaking them for genuine vintage images, and that’s down to how well styled and how well planned all the little bits of the day were. The image above makes us smile so much, everything about it is just so 1940′s – it’s perfection!

When planning for your own themed wedding, remember to think about little things as well as big things. Sure you’ll need to kit everyone out in the right outfits but you need to think about favors, decorations and food too. Can you get them to match the theme too?

We love the Princess style of Amey’s wedding dress and we love how her accessories match the Princess theme too! The tiara and the necklace look gorgeous with this style of dress and although they’re statement pieces the look doesn’t look overstated at all, it’s a perfect balance! We think Amey would fit in perfectly with Cinerella and her Disney girls!

We found some amazing dresses here and here which are similar to the dress Amey wears, and we also found some gorgeous tiaras too! Oh and it you really are dedicated to the Princess theme… definitely check out the Disney Princess Bridal Collection.

We absolutely adore the lovely blue colour theme which works perfectly against the ocean backdrop. Just enough to make the whole wedding tie together! We love the waist band around Allison’s dress and the little blue hints on Joe’s tie. And check out the bridesmaids dresses – just gorgeous!

Everything about this wedding is so laid back and perfectly suited to the sea-side vibe. We love the tousled hair style of the bride (here’s some more hair styles that have the same feel about them) and the lovely pearls the bride is wearing too – another perfect silent signal to the ocean theme!

Trashing your dress is a new craze hitting brides everywhere, an excuse to get back into your beautiful gown and then ruin it by any means possible. Women have chosen to jump into swimming pools, some into the ocean (check out our Simple bride for an example of that) or even heading to rubbish dumps! It’s such a fun idea and those who take part in a trash the dress shoot end up with some gorgeous, quirky photography to remember their wedding with, as well as the traditional shots that were taken on the actual day.

SaySo Weddings took the concept to a whole new level with a Giant Trash The Dress Photo Shoot held in Adelaide on Sunday 6th February 2011. Fourteen brides took part, with the day starting in the magnificent Grand Ballroom at the Stamford Grand Hotel. Participants had their hair styled by Karen Hedger of Complete Look Hair and Beauty and makeup applied by make-up Artist Lauren Parkinson. Brides enjoyed a pancake breakfast and posed at reception tables decorated beautifully by Bliss Events before having individual formal portraits taken.

Formalities over, the brides were let loose on the streets of Glenelg. Heads turned as the large group of brides paraded along the foreshore, stopping for photos on the jetty, at a tramstop and even with a rather bewildered camel!
