Today our real bride is Rachel and her Jamaican wedding to groom Derrick. This lovely couple had a very simple and modest ceremony (with only 5 guests!) at an award winning boutique wedding venue in Jamaica: The Hummingbird Hall. The Hummingbird hall hold stunning wedding ceremonys in their gorgeous grounds all year long – for more images of their venue check out their facebook page! Rachel and Derrick chose the venue for it’s lush gardens and gorgeous surroundings, which made for amazing photography backdrops and a great honeymoon afterwards!

We love the simplicity of this ceremony and the lovely way Rachel chose to keep her dress and hair simple (but beautiful!) too. We got searching for some dresses like Rachel’s and found some here and here. Dresses like this are the perfect choice for brides who are going abroad to marry because they’re lightweight and easily packed away, and they aren’t too hot and heavy for all that tropical heat!
